Loose crimp connectors on power cables.....

Hi all,
I just found a problem with my battery cables that I thought may be of interest. On my battery and earth cables, you can pull the crimp connectors free with a pair of pliers!! This could explain the recent problems people have had with bad earths and poor starting...
I have now re-crimping all my cables using a hydraulic crimping machine from where I work. It commpresses the crimp in a hexagon die rather than using a 'pin' to deform the crimp. This results in the cable being tightly gripped and I am sure less resistance at high currents.
Just a thought to check if you have poor starting...

copper cable
aluminum end
steel bolt and steel tab that it is being connected to.
can anyone else see a problem with the dis-similar metals being used?
you should at least try and get some bi-metalic connector so that the copper aluminimum reaction doesent occour.
