I am sure this has been asked before. I am getting ready to paint the fuel tanks and the inside of the body panels. Would anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks,

Randy

I painted the inside of my body panels with Hammerite stone chip paint.
If possible paint the underside of the wheel arch area of the front and rear clips with some sort of rubberised paint. Lucky P found some the other day which I think was Isoflex from Screwfix direct. If you can give these areas 2 or 3 coats you should eliminate any possibility of a stone thrown up by the wheel causing a star crack in the GF.

For the Tank I again used stone chip spray paint over an etch primer. I then covered the exposed surfaces of the tanks with the ali foil heat insulation with chrome tape edging. This was not for insulation but to save having to try and keep the ali surfaces clean and polished. It works very well and does not tarnish.

I used DP90 ppg for inside the body. Rollered it on.
Didn't paint the tanks.
