Sorry lucky been too busy out there. In a week 3 days out, Silverstone x 2 and Vmax. First week a very wet Silverstone and then a week drying out. Great day at vmax about 175mph I believe. Yesterday fantastic day back at Silverstone. Rebuilt engine now run in. Very happy with build and car setup. I handed the car to Calum Lockie and asked him to show me how an Ultima would go around Silverstone without killing me. We both had an incredible time and it was fantastic to experience the car nearer limits but in total control. Look forward to seeing you on the road very soon. Apology on my lack of ability in publishing pictures. Also wish now I had in car video.

Good move on the pictures Lucky. Vmax was a great day and all the Ultima behaved very well with many people have rides and experiencing the car for the first time. Do have to say getting the suspension aligned, bump steer done and winding the dampers up has made for a very neutral car. Flat out on the exit to the bend at 130 mph is really an experience. My only regret is not have the Girdle fitted on the rockers and the lack of the front splitter (makes a big difference in braking)

How is the new suspension. The car looks much flatter in these pics. Does it feel better?

What did Calum Say about it?

Calum was very impressed said car was set up very well. He only managed mild underteer when really pushed. Put that down to road tyres. As blue said bump steer big difference on turn in. Uprated springs made the car much flatter and took away the tendency to lift the rear corner. Ran with damper settins of 42 rear and 37 front. Adjusted top of wing flat at vmax and forgot to rturn it at Silverstone it made a huge difference under brakes when it was set back to half way.
