Spring Ratings

Hi - does anyone know what the standard spring ratings are for a gtr and what length they sould be.

The springs on my gtr are not Ultima one's so I need to check they are the correct spec.

I can tell you what is written on mine( the factory std ones), think they are length(mm)and spring rate (?):

Fronts 180/80

Rear 180/110

it may be
"spring rate / max travel before becoming coil bound"
do the front and reat dampers have different amounts of stroke?

The first nunber is defo the length in mm as the uprated one have 150 and are 150mm long (and the 180 std ones are 180mm)

Dunno about the stroke.

The second number is the spring rate in N/mm.

1N/mm is about 5.7lbf/in (which is the units that we Brits normally spec springs in)
