How about getting a few ultimas here:

Lets see who's the fastest then... I can only manage 12 secs but who wants to try to beat the factory 9.9 secs?

I was going to post about this event as I've already registered with CKC (Complete Kitcar) that I intend to go! If we can get more than five Ults they will get a trophy made for for our group! They are also giving away overall trophys. I'll let Ian at CKC know if we can get at least five.

Any more takers

Regards Dave

Good stuff - our own trophy! Assuming good weather we will be around the fastest "group" there. I find it great fun. Its actually harder than it seems - two much power and loads of wheelspin and low times, granny starts can be faster (?) Sometimes faster end speeds with lower times as well. Will be good to see some good (sub 11 secs) times, which is fast.

By the way, last time I went to this track there are a few rules: EG crash hats, no exposed arms/legs (eg no shorts/tee shirts) and car fluids must be caught - water overflow needs to go into a old water bottle etc so nothing drips onto the track. They will check your car before you can race.

Dave has undoubtedly done a fantastic job with his project so far but surely the fastest deserves to win? hehe

Yes it will be an interesting event, it would be cool to compare a good SBC to a LS.

There's a lot of technique to drag racing, it's not all about grunt....!

But that does help.
