Hi, I'm looking at fitting a Honda S2000 start button on my dash has anybody any idea where I can get the mating female 5 pin connector from?
Have tried a number of breakers yards without success.
Thanks
David

Hi, CBS have a very similar switch on page 21 of their catalogue, no connector necessary as far as I can see.

Hi guys, I wanted a big red start button so I went to a electronics store and bought a switch that was intented to be used on a computor works like a champ. Remember if you wire it properly its only controling limited voltage. the connectors on the back were ordinary spade fittings. Lee

David,
I installed the S2000 switch in my GTR. It works great. Here is an image to help describe the wiring. Take 12v from the ignition switch that way to start the car, you need to turn the key to the run position and then push the button to start the car. The diagram uses the same relay as in the GTR so it is pretty easy to modify. I cut the plastic away in the back of the switch to get to the posts and very carefully soldered the wires to them without overheating the switch. Make sure you slide heat shrink tubing over these wires as the are really close together and you don't want them shorting out.
