Polishing stainless manifolds

My manifolds are very tarnished and look like they have 'rust spots' on them.

I have already polished the back boxes and they have come up like new, but the manifolds are proving quite a challenge. I am using a buffing wheel attached to a drill with stick of polishing compound, but it is not strong enough to remove the heavy tarnish.

Any advise on the easiest method to bring them back to how they should be?

This one is a wool that's impregnated with polish... you tear it off like cotton wool..

Or you could get them HPC coated http://www.hpcoatings.com/am/products/products_hea... but it looks like know one in the U.K is am agent which is a shame. They are extensively used in Motorsport here in NZ and the US.

Hi Barry. How the heck are you? Sadly the XTR2 wents tits up when you guys started asking silly money for your £. The buyer on my 911 Turbo dragged out the sale and in that time the exchange rate turned to poo's. The Sakers no XTR2 but I'm very happy with it.
