Deckchair & packed lunch!

I spent a lovely hour or two at the factory today. It's always nice to look at the cars, talk to the people, pop to the loo, etc! I believe 454's car was there - very tidy looking, also a black can-am recieving a good polishing.

I think next time I'll take a deckchair & packed lunch - you know - really make a day of it!

Hi Darren,

Yes, my car is there waiting for it's final inspection by the DVLA in order to release the registration docs.


Should be on the road within a week or two which is both exciting and quite scary at the same time.

In a strange sort of way I hope you are right, Steve.

Would be a trifle disappointing to spend all that time and money building the car if it didn't scare me rigid for the first few spirited outings

I will post up my impressions once I've finally driven it in anger .......

with this weather I would suggest you put it in the garage and cuddle it for a few weeks just to be safe!

. Forgot to add an amphibious option, so I'm following shithotfast's advice and waiting for spring to arrive. A few more coats of polish won't hurt.

After all the time it's taken me to build it I'm gagging to get out there and actually drive the thing.

All I need is one dry, salt free day ............hmmm maybe it will be spring then ......

Speaking of which .. I spun my back wheels today whilst overtaking. No drama in that, except I was in 4th at 70 mph
(wasnt even full throttle either!).
