thinking of buying other wheels

Hello guys,

As you know I am building a Ultima GTR.

Last week I sold my donkervoort (= hq dutch caterham)
and I am looking for some new wheels.
Can buy another one (first option) but I am also thinking about something else.

One of the options is a LOTUS EXIGE S2 (220+hp)

Has any one of you ever drove one and can you say what you think.

I drove an Elise at the track. It was pretty good. Nimble and marginally sufficient power. The EXIGE S2 has more grunt, no doubt.

I owned one for a short period of time and to be honest ......

So So Overrated........

Wasnt very quick, unreliable, poor build quality etc etc

it did handle well but that wasnt enough to keep it

I was thinking of building a Murtaya to replace the now sold black beast, and with it being 4wd it'd be good for all weather, all year use...

Though it'd probably have to wait until I'm back in NZ, as I'm about to start a new job in Amsterdam, so finding a place to build it there may prove difficult, let alone just getting up a flight of stairs with the furniture!

In Amsterdam the furniture goes up the front of the house on a hoist and in through the window.....Now there's a thought... do you have room to build the car in your front bedroom?

Builded my first VM/Rush seven
in the livingroom of our studentshouse,
we had to lift it over the house
to get it out of the place.

Know people who had to take the window out
of their (rent)flat to get the superseven on the floor.
6the stock if I remember it right.

You do strange things if you are in high need.

Murtaya...Tube bolded to plastic, oooh...
Lovely thing..bit mx5isch..which is not a bad thing.
subaru stuff is okee as long as you don't go racing.

What type was it and was it that overrated and slow?
There is also a 250hp version will thet do?
I want a good handling funcar but try to avoid problems.
So please give me an honest review.

Think I have a few lists.

1. Closed funcar: (I want to work on it a bit)
Porsche 977 GT3RS or turbo/ferrari 360 or 430/lambo Gallardo/ultima GTR.

2. Open funcar: (no bling-bling)(possibel to close when necessary, wife)
Donkervoort D8/radical/BMW Z8

3. Daddycar: (remeber I have two kids)
audi RS6avant/BMW M5 avant/Aston martin/porsche cayenne turbo or GTS.

4. Mummycar: (only blue!! and no flashy big wheels)
Renault espace/ford galaxy/VW/

5. Racecar:
Alfa/lancia/ferrari/donkervoort

6. I love:
EVO/Xbow/etc.

Anyone else got such a list?
