Exhaust Manifolds

I am going to need exhaust manifolds made from LS1/ Sport. I see from Tony Laws web side that they have manufactured a set for Small Block Chevy. What was the service like?
Or any other recommendations?

I cannot use the factory units before anyone states the obvious. The engine is mounted lower in the chassis and uses custom made engine / gearbox mounts. I will not be installing catalytic converter as the car was registered in 1998.
I would like to use a cross over system similar to the GT40s. The engines is running in Kinsler throttle bodies for the retro look!

Tell me, is this just for the look too are do you have reason to believe it will make a difference performance wise?

On the manifold front, GTRSimon maybe the man to talk to about this.

You might like to contact Charles Dunn. He is considering developing cross-over exhaust for SBC, maybe interested in working on LS1.

I am told that the crossover has some technical advantages over two separate manifolds.

Perhaps one of the engine builders would like to comment!

But ultimately I like the look and the distinctive sound.

90 degree V8 engines do not need converting into two four cylinder engines to work.
