Couple of questions someone may be able to help with...

Dont think the VDO electic speedometer on my Spyder is reading correctly (reading too high). Had a quick look around the vehicle but I cannot see where the speed pickup sensor is! - does any one have an idea? If it's somewhere in the gearbox, does anyone know the pulse count per minute that should be set and what rear wheel dia it assumes?

The Holley 750 needs tuning - idle is good but its running too rich. Anyone know of a good Holly carb tuner? My location is Mid North Essex/Suffolk border - CO93AX

Thanks in adviance..

The most common pickup point is a trigger wheel fitted behind the nearside drive shaft coupling to the 'box. The pickup will be mounted on a bracket pointing at, and almost touching, the edge of the trigger wheel.

First thing with your Holley is to check the float levels.

A good engine tuner around our way is Tom Newman on Mersea Island, I believe he built Simons engine and is currently playing with mine. He's a old school Chevy/Holley man.
His # is 01206 385995
