Defuser Situation
Discussion
That looks good to me - nice piece of work and I think it finishes the back of the car off as that was always dead space. Don't know how effective it will be as I assume the engine bay of your car isn't panelled on the bottom but if you were doing it as a kit I'd buy it.

Interesting, I was wondering if you could fit a diffuser under there, take it as its something you knocked up you think its probably going to be more cosmetic than actually having any aerodynamic benefit? If one could be developed that could actually work presumably one wouldn't need the GT wing?

Yes, all my own work, but I cheated, because I have a spare rear clip and moulded it from that, and to attach it to the car I used the same material that is used to secure the headlamp covers, so no holes had to be drilled, and when the rear clip opens, there is about 1/2 inch clearence (more luck than good judgement) Yo Dave, cracking Chevrolet bowtie badge, like hens teeth to find, I like it because it is subtle, and gives a hint of what's inside.
