Has anyone bought the new style bushes from Ultima?? Ultima haver said that they should last a long time, The car is having bump steer and geometry setup and I want it spot on.

Did you buy a new car already Andrew? Thought you had one for sale as you were moving abroad, or is this the one with the sound proofing and turbo being fitted to it?
I lose track of all these cars, just buy a black one as we all know they're faster

well after having a load of idiots(sorry to the genuine people)view the car I am pissed off, I am moving into a rental property until we move, problem is it doesn't have a garage, my brother has now offered me his garage the kind soul, so I am going to have a few bits and pieces done and keep it over here garaged, interior and full suspension setup first.

having only owned the car for 6 weeks I'd be gutted to see it go but if A GENUINE PERSON wanted it I would sell as it's the logical thing to do but unfortunatley my heart has a different opinion.

I have fitted the new bushes but it is still too early to know how long they will last. They are an improvement with the knurl to retain grease and the stainless steel inner. When the old ones came out the inner was corroded so would be increasing the wear.

The only good thing about a black one is it blends with the tarmac so it is hard to see and less chance of embaresment when broken down or run out of petrol......this info came from wayne

Went out for a drive yesterday after replacing all the bushes.

I have the new red bushes front and top rear with black (my choice)lower rear. All I can say is the car feels a lot better! It is amazing how you get used to the way the car feels and it only when you change something you notice the difference.

Next stop is bump steer and alignment.
