Water Flow Direction. . . .
Discussion
Flow will be from the inlet or thermostat housing to the heater and back to the pump. You should also have the 'H' balance pipe fitted between the two heater hoses and note the comment in the build manual.
"The alloy “H” section supplied is to fit in the engine bay as per the photo.
This will allow a flow and return to and from the engine when the heater control valve is shut off. Not using this bypass will make the heater matrix heat up even with the control valve shut off as the Chevy water pump has that much power even on tick-over." Quote Ultima Handbook V3.00.

The factory sell 'H' pipes are they somehow unsuitable?
It's probably great. It's a lot easier buying plumbing bits from Halfords, B&Q or a local motor factor though...Steve
The H pipe is a bypass on the heater circuit. This could only be because they where unhappy with the pressure buildup behind the heater shutoff valve when the thermostat is shut. Seemed to me the wrong way to go about it, as this bypass means the cooling circuit has a route that misses the radiator at all times !! therefore making the water pump/radiator/cooling system less efficient. Fitted a solenoid to stop the water flow on the heater by the fuel tanks, so if it did blow off for any reason it won't burn me. That water pump has 50gpm flow..... hasn't blow off yet ah Wayne....

my aircon works ok but not great, it also leaks condensation in the passenger footwell.
There is a drain pipe either side of the aircon which should pass over the top chassis rail and down through the botom of each side pod.Sounds like one of yours has fallen off the side of the aircon unit.

I kind of like the surprise of a refreshing drip now and again!
