Some GTR800 Speculation + Gear Ratios

I have been playing around with a program called Cartest 2000.

I have been thinking about the new Ultima GTR800 and was working out some gear ratios so they would be better suited to the engine, and also some performance times based on the programs calculations.

Also i had to make my own torque curve and torque figures so may not be exactly right, 700ft/lbs @5500rpm with a smooth curve till 7200, but if someone has a dyno sheet with the correct numbers that would be better.

Heres some rough performance times
0-60mph =2.64secs
0-100mph=4.36secs
0-150mph=8.82secs
0-180mph=12.50secs
0-186mph=13.35secs
0-200mph=16.16secs
1/4mile =9.65secs@158.35mph
Top Speed=237mph (aero not known guessed 0.30)

Also i did some tweaking of the gear ratios and came up with this


I thought that was a nice set of ratios,
1st (1.5:1) =105mph
2nd (1.24:1) =126mph
3rd (1:1) =159mph
4th (0.85:1) =188mph
5th (0.75:1) =214mph
6th (0.679:1) =237mph
Final (3.444:1)
7200RPM Redline

I thought you guys might like that, im always thinking about ultimas lol. What do you guys think.

Hey carmad426, does Cartest 2000 calculate any times for 0-10 points and 0-prison for the GTR800?

Not sure I'd agree Wayne. My builder was like that and he was a complete .

Probably why he's driving a Ford Ranger and not an Ultima
