I have at last got all of the replacement parts that I need to get the GTW up and running and my goal is to be at Stoneleigh for the Bank Holiday Monday.
Just wondering who else is going and on what day/s?

I will be there on the Sunday and more to the point so will my Procharged Can-Am. I might also go on the Monday. I'm busy trying to get the car ready for it's MOT test. I should have it running again tomorrow. I'm off work this week trying to get all the small jobs finished. Fingers crossed for Stoneleigh.

Regards Dave

Guys,

I'd love to join you guys and add my GTR to the line-up, but...

Since my engine is still in the States being stroked (no..the pampering kind of stroked!) by Mr Schwarts, and I don't fancy cutting a hole in the floor to put a pedal box in, I am still not able to come and be 'one-of-the boys'weeping

...and I am envious!!!

Building is fun,....but very frustrating...cos it ain't going fast enough!!!
tumbleweed

Anyway...I will certainly attend in my 'Shed' ...

I had intended to come on Sunday, but...If Wayney is only coming on Monday, then I will have to revise...cos I must give him a chance to take the Michael eek out of me (sorry any Mikes out there)in person!

Where is the parking for Ults this year? Is it the same spot as last year?

It will be fun to actually meet some of you guys and put faces to handles, so to speak!

I'm planning to be there on the SUNDAY, I think you'll find most will be there on the Sunday. (the M1/M25 will be a nightmare on the Monday!)

Edited to say that maybe this year there could be as many Can-Am's as GTR's (well almost, just hope for Can-Am weather)

Keith, whilst I fully appreciate that a man of your age is more than likely to be 'somebody's' Grandad, you are not mine, and therefor I forbid you to refer to me as above due to the fact that MY own Grandad calls me this. Maybe I have it all wrong and this is some sort of 'Grandad speak' in which case, please, do not let me stifle you hehe

That is a very interesting point. I remember a number of Ultima drivers thinking that they may have been 'done' on the way home last year. Did any of you get a NIP.

Something else that springs to mind, has anybody ever been 'done' in there Ultima? After seeing the anti speed gun (Tonight with Trevor, I think) programme some weeks back I wonder if the slip error is too great as we all have very small vertical fronts and lots of slope. I know I have been zapped twice but have never received that dreaded letter.

People always mention the front wrt Radar guns and jammers. Do the police never zap the back of cars ? I've been thinking of getting a jammer but it only covered the front.

I do not think jammers are legal in the UK.

Oi! Go and start your own thread why don't ya? ( unless of course you are coming to Stonleigh and intend to bring one of those 'law evading devices' along with you to give to me as a free gift? ) No? Didn't think so.
