Hi guys. I have not got an Ultima but I must say it must be one of the most exciting cars out there... Now this is my question to you all. Would an Ultima like the ones advertised i.e about the £35 mark be faster than my neighbours Lambo Murcielago. I do not meen to sound like sour grapes and red from jealousy but I must say he gets on my nose every weekend with the 3 hours long wash. Sadly I have not got the expertise or the time or more than £35 to spend for an Ultima but I hopinf that all you guys will give me some suggestions.

best wishes

My 400bhp GTR was doing the same times as a Zonda 11.9 1/4 mile and 0-100 in 8.5....
So quite easy to buy a Lambo beater...

But only below a 100mph. a 600hp Zonda or Lambo will have no trouble pulling away from a 400hp Ultima above that.

I'd say it would be quicker up to 140-150mph than the murcilago.... my ultima absalutelly left the Lambo for dead when we performance timed them back to back.... but Clives car was not that different to mine on the road despite the approx 80-100bhp disadvantage.

Put simply IMO on the road you could leave the lambo with a 400bhp Ultima, but you would have to be being very silly to do so.... would cost about £2k less to insure as well lol.

I agree ,if you look at the 1/4 miles times for the ultima 720 it is not alot quicker than my own times about 3/4 of a second don't think you would notice that on the road ,there has got to be a limit for the traction available esp on the road . lambo's are not that quick ....unless its wet then it would wipe the floor with us .
