Audi V8 & Audi Transaxle

How much work would it take to pop in an Audi 3.7/4.2 V8 and audi transaxle.

The Westfield is now sold and i need to make a decision on engine and box.

i think one of the german companys is using Audi V8 in there ultima ,i've seen the 4.2 v8 lump and its very small only issue would be fitting to transaxle and wireing ,would be a great setup i bet . simon

Had the new S8/V8 with handgearbox in my GTR, just for the fun.

Easy peace, to easy to be honest.
Us the gearbox of the audi also.
Put the petroltank in front of the engine for the weightdistri.

Which gearbox did you use and what managment.

Does anybody know the dimension from the axle line to the front of the engine? I'm considering a later project of putting this combination in my Phantom GTR..

with the standard handgearbox and standard motormanagement
The tuner wanted 8500 euro complete for it.

I did not make any of the engine in the GTR.

there was a Sports for sale on e-bay a while ago that had a twin turbo audi V8 I think, it was a nearly finished project I believe, but not sure what came of it?
