noticed a bit of the lubricant, which is used to grease the driveshafts,on the engine block, the exhaust AND the signal sender for the speedometer (mounted at the gearbox on drivers side driveshaft)...bolts are tightened, no visible gap between driveshaft and gearbox....anyone experienced the same problem ? Any solutions ?

Has to be changed. If it has split due to the continual flexing then a glue joint has no hope of lasting.

hey simon. Telling me you replaced it...Did you get the rubbers seperately ? Or did you have to buy complete new driveshafts ? If yes, wheere did you get the rubbers only from... ?

I had exactly the same problem and replaced the gators as has been mentioned above, just ordered replacement ones from the factory. Mark
