Looks like someone needs a track day to "get it out of their system". This would be a reasonable speed for American highways if:
1) the average driver could be trusted to stay right
2) the average driver could be trusted to use their mirrors
3) the govenment would post reasonable speed limits, decreasing the massive difference in speed seen on the video.

Seems like the States has an equal number of t*"ts who insist on using the two overtaking lanes to pootle along in. As in UK the driving lane is usually completely clear and quicker than the others - try the M25 for one. Don't you sometimes wish you could 'nuke' them out the way!!
Who's going to be first to install a laser guided rocket launcher on their Ultima?? Come on Wayne, you don't quite have the ultimate accessory yet.

You have got me all wrong, I am a pacifist, and anyone who says otherwise is going to get the biggest fi........as I say, I find violence abhorant and cannot condone it in any way, shape or form. I may be wrong but I think that the format is a little different with regards to lane rules on the highways in the good old US of A. It does not seem to matter what lane you are in as everyone drives at 55 mph, there is no overtaking lane as such.

Wayne, you´re right. They don´t have a imperative to always (if possible) use the right (in GB left) lane...So they´re cruisin´ on every lane...
They do the same here in the UK the difference is we are not allowed to overtake on either side as is the case in the US.

Our road laws are about the same as you guys have stated to be yours. Slow traffic keep right and the posted speed limits are unreasonable but no one obeys them. Mostly (out west) the posted highway speed limits are 55 to 65 mph but the traffic mostly goes 75 and the left lane (high speed – we call it) typically is at 80 or more. The police will pull you over for going significantly less than traffic for causing traffic(you could even get a ticket for going the posted speed).
For what it is worth, the video of these two guys are blatantly stupid. They belong on the track only and not some busy highway. I love speed as much as the next guy but choose a different road – one that doesn't have semi-trucks and grandmas driving on it.
