You are welcome to borrow my bullet cam setup if you wish. The camera simply velcros to the car wherever you wish to put it. Give me a shout if you want to use it. It's a high res camera so the picture quality is pretty good for such a small camera, and it has a separate mic to record the sound. It connects to a camcorder which can be safely stowed behind the seat and has a separate remote control for the dash to start/pause/stop recording.

Nope, just use the camera mic. Mine's securely attached with a manfrotto camera mount to the roll bar.
Llandow doesn't have a lot of runoff and the grass banks are unforgiving - so go easy
Lots of the rally boyos use it. It was freshly surfaced last time I went there, but I expect its been chewed up a bit since.

Answers to your questions:
1. The mic is on a separate lead from the bullet cam and can be placed anywhere really. It's best to shroud it with some insulating foam if it's mounted outside, to avoid wind-whistle. I have had it positioned between the twin exhausts on my Ducati before and it worked a treat.
2. If you want to buy one. Try www.rfconcepts.co.uk - I have bought 2 sets from them in the past and both have been reliable good quality bits of kit. Their service is good and they do complete sets with mounts, mic and camera shrouds. Even different lenses are available ie. wide-angle etc. Stick with the standard lens for general use, but the hi-res (480TV lines) is definitely worth the slightly higher cost (much better picture quality)
3. You will need a camcorder with an analogue AV input/output - looks like a headphone jack with AV.
If this seems like a lot of hassle, you could just buy a camcorder mount and fix your camcorder to this, but I prefer the bullet cam setup because the camcorder can be safely stowed out of harms way and the bullet cam can be far more interestingly placed to give you some great shots (on the lower front wing just behind the wheel gives a great shot and sensation of speed!)
If you like I'll post some footage taken with the setup and you can judge for yourself.

Does anyone have a list of track venues in the UK where an Ultima is likely to be below the noise limit ? My Canam goes for SVA in September and I'll be itching to take it out on the track. I've only done 2 track events before, do you guys normally book via a 'trackday club' or use some other means ?

As long as it's a 105db limit you'll be fine. There's quite a few. Bookatrack are very good.

I'll borrow Greg's, if that's OK - at least if I scare myself silly and decide never to one again, I won't have wasted any cash!
Still trying to work out heel and toe - I tend to either come to a halt in a scream of revs or just get the blip right, but then delay the clutch release til the revs have died off!!
Should the accelerator pedal be about level with the brake pedal as you brake? Then it is a roll to outside to blip whilst keeping brake pressure and dipping clutch in and out??

Errrmmm.......wasn't trying to heel and toe then, just like giving it a blip for the fun of it - it certainly was too early to match the change down
