there you go boosted. a nice big turbo that i think they just use to matain power (airflow) at higher levels. but how would you referance a weatgate to 0psi boost????

Thanks Chris, that's some project and I like the quality of the work, top stuff.
What do you mean by referencing the wastegate. For fuel you just reference it to whatever's happening in the plenum. Overboost will open a wastegate whatever the atmo pressure outside. A balance with boost and low atmo pressure at 30'000 feet will still be there. Or, did you mean something else?

Think I know what you mean now but I don't think you need to do that.
The wastegate is connected to manifold pressure so even at altutude it will sense the boost pressure in the intake. To get more boost you would just use greater spring pressure. That said the atmo side of the diaphragm would be sensing lower pressure at altitude so the balance may be similar to low level. Interesting to ponder though.
