LHD Ultima

Hi guys,

I have recently been introduced to the Ultima cars. I must say how impressive are the company effort/results. I really like one but I have nor the time or the technical skill to built it and in addition I can not afford a turnkey car from the factory. If I buy a second hand GTR with about 40k is it possible to change the steering wheel from RHD to LHD? I will drive the car mostly in the continent. Best wihes

Sorry, no, it is not practical to change sides as the underside of the dash has a number of structural frame members positioned around the steering column.

There are a number of LHD cars outside of the UK so one may come up for sale. Keep checking the Pistonheads classified adverts section.

this has been done (on a chassis) there is a posting somewhere i have seen that describs the procedure

there is quite a bit of welding involved
