Headers for LSx engines anyone???

ok if you ignore the turbo and other stuff for a second (well it would be nice to see the turbo on there to ) and take a look at these headers. these things will soon be availabe from a company call Forced Fed in the states.

now i recon they would make pretty good set of headers for a LSx engine install in the ultima. what do you guys think??? i know their not equal length but they should stil flow alot better than the cast ones (Crafty ).

the company say they will sell them seperate and im just asking how much they are going to be going for.

The headers are facing the wrong way for an ulitma, maybe they can be reversed to point towards the back of the motor.

that what i was thinking mate. and i think with the LSx you can run the exhaust backwards or forwards, the bolt patterns still line up.

yeah they are a bit big i guess but that would suite NA applications better! andi dont think they are much, if any, bigger than the SBC headers that come as standard! still looks a very nice kit that i recon could be adapted to the ultima.

Oh and sorry no price for just the headrers yet! hoprfully later today i will have one

Keep me up on this as well. I'm swaping my SBC for an LS1 "ASA" motor. Should have all the pieces by the end of next week. I've already fit the motor, now I'm waiting on all the bits (wiring harness, etc...) I have a local guy that will build a custom set. Might get a break on multiple sets.

These are unlikely to fit - they look like they'd clash with the rollcage strut.

how much closer to the rocker covers do they havve to get then crafty???

they look similar to the SBC ones (dont they????)!
