I can see the first design catching on,it looks like a racing car,a proper'track refugee' but the silver one?You'd think they could have come up with something a little more competition inspired and unique than this wouldn't you?

Yeah. Like the styling of the first model very bold and in your face. Short wheelbase might make it a bit of a handful though.

Second one is a bit too retro derivative...very 1989. However if the stereo is hardwired to only play Stone Roses then count me in!

The ASDA 99p 'GTR' is still available. The silk-cut era Jag Le Mans scalextric model can be had off ebay for £5 and with a bodged paint job made to look more like a Sports.
