Hello Folks! F1 Engine Video?

Hey All,

It's been a while since I have been able to make the time to read PistonHeads, let alone work on the GTR. But, after some stuff has cleared from my plate, I can almost see daylight again.

A friend was was asking about F1 engines. I recall seeing a test-cell video of a V10. Does anyone have a link to that?

Just to be fair, here's a link to a very nice "Ring" viedo.

Talking about me? No wonder my ears were ringing.

Thanks for the link, Crafty! That's the one I was looking for.

The engine has been fired, but I don't have my transaxle yet. Hope to get my "VIN Number" for registration next. Still not much done on the chassis.

What about you? At the rate you were going, you must have about 60-70k miles on her already. You ready for a rebuild yet?

What was it though? He did one lap, and was rather happy at the end of it!! Admittedly so would I have beenm as I think he embarresed a few porsche's out there

Wow, scott...fantastic video...and how fast that M3 GTR was going!...he was eating porsche's for breakfest...so quik almost unbelieveble, and he must have some bals driving that fast on some points next month I'm going also to the track/street and do some laps for the first time driving myself...guess I will be happy when I good drive half his speed anyway, I will drive save on that Nurnburgring...and leave my DSC on just in case

It's great to see someone really challenge the "Ring". And that guy was flying.

Now, I have never been to the Ring, but, the videos that I have seen in the last few years have only been one lap. It's possible they don't let cars continue for multiple laps. The way it is run, it appears you do a lap or two around the closed course, then go out into the Eifel forest.
