flushing out accusump

I need to clean all the oil lines out, oil cooler and accusump. Best thing to use, I have been told, is parrafin. What's the best way to clean out the accusump. The oil trapped in there is as black as soot.

I think it can be stripped down but not sure.
I would contact Think Automotive and ask them.
