Silverstone Supercar Meet

For those who didn't make the VW meet (me included), this could be fun?

As this forum has effectively become the 'club', we may be able to secure some free tickets?

This May 6th & 7th Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit will host the ‘Supercar Showdown’ that includes a round of the FIA GT Championship. We (Motion Works as event promoters) are offering prime (free) display and parking areas for Supercar Clubs and Supercar owners generally. This will be a good opportunity for clubs, members and owners to get together and enjoy the atmosphere and view some world-class racing over the same weekend. We will offer a number of free tickets and all tickets are significantly reduced for those who participate.

It's only a week after Stoneleigh, but any excuse to take the car out eh?

I'll be up for it anyway. Sounds like a good day out! Silverstone is only an hour up the road for me. How about all meeting up at the M1 services near there?

As there's a wee bit more lead time on this meet (I should have had time to tighten all the loose nuts/bolts so things don't drop off the car), count me in as well...
