Motorshow Essen Technocars GTR and others great day

Today was a long day with snow, but weve got there! to the Motorshow Essen Germany with lots of fast cars from tuners and carmakers, this is me at their stand with nice brake's too.
And I saw the Technocars GTR and Can Am from a new player in the Ultima game...
Some facts, we talked about the rearlights and as someone else said who was there, they are realy from Hella! and the fronts too! and they look great
I also saw they changed some other stuf on the car with a nice result, and I sat in the GTR and it has great seats and dashbord and the steering exat where it should be in front of the driver and not ofset as some Ultima's have(not all) where I sat in at the open day in August this year.
I talked a lot with the man from Technocars also about the engine set up, there is lots of free space between the engine and the seats/backplate? the audi engine looks very smal compared too those chevy's, and the maker sayd between now and 2 years they gona rebuild that car even more, like other headlight configurations, and a bit longer nose to get more room between lights and wheels and more airodynamic front and the plate between seat and back about 5cm? orso more backwards and other doors so you could get even quiker in and out.
And the exhaust pipes are realy BIG
I'd made some picture's of the engine bay and the pipes you see of the dampers? that bick is also the outlet looks COOL
So they realy are much bigger than "standard" the 2 cats are below the 2 outside muflers, and the 2 end muflers are as fat as the endpipe! a nice job I think.
And the best thing is? their headquorters is in Aachen Germany, but they build the car in my country the Netherlands in the province zeeland, and he said give me a call some day and I give you a ride in the car, he even can speak very good Dutch, so that was easy.
The other thing I should do there was looking at the Gumpert Apollo...that has the same rearlights as the Technocars GTR also Hella I've got some picture's but I don't have a site so can't show now, but that car is also awsom/strange and the interior is very very nice! on of the best I saw! with lots of carbon perfectly fitted around seats and dash! very nice to see...

around the seats and tunnel too! the picture does not look that good, in real its top.
and hear a close up from the hella lights and the carbon...
Also saw the Wiesmann GT again(I saw them at the factory) a perfect car with a elise like frame from aluminium and a BMW V8 and they pland to get a V10 M5(when they get a go from BMW) in it or at least a M5 V8...and thats a very very nice car! a supercar allrounder not much weight and all stuf a board and very nice interior! and nice outside too! This day I saw it all many many special expensive cars! and I got home with a 25cm high staple of books and car magazines for free!! so many days readingand looking stuf, its all at the Essen Motorshow(25-11 <> 4-12-2005) I walked in a total of 20 hals(big and smaler) I was there at 09:15am and left at 16pm and we walked almost all the time! and every hall we visits I crossed it on the map
so I saw it all, and now sitting at home I'm tired and pain in the back, but with many inputs and thoughts and car magazine's
The facts, Stil love the Ultima GTR the most by looks outside, and love the Gumpert Apollo the most by looks inside.

enjoyed your report and pics. From this and other postings I can tell (not sure how :-) you are desperate to get an Ultima. I remember wanting one so bad I could taste it. Just keep saving and find a way round those import tax laws ...

Yep, I realy do love, and dream, and read a lot Ultima, and if it were not for those high import tax then...I also considdert a lot of options to envoid tax, but its to difficult they know all the tricks and when they get you, or when you get an acident youre in trouble, so I wait and look around, maybe I can find a nice rich lady
or win the lottery... Sadly there are no Ultima's GTR in the Netherlands, so maybe first I buy a Lotus Exige Cup with supercharger I have an option on(and hopefully anough money?)half december take a ride in when its ready. And maybe who knows next year better luck, but I wil not give up soon
