Suspension on track day

Hi All,
Weather permitting I hope to do an airfield track day, the last one using my Sylvia Striker, I found the back very bumpy until we softend the shocks. I have standard shocks on my ultima and wondered if any of you have had a problem on such surfaces, or if there is anything I can do to prepare for such a problem?
