99 Octane Petrol at TESCO.

Guys, not sure if this has been posted before but I was interested to hear tht the highest octane fuel in the UK today is actualy at TESCOS! - 99 RON, which is higher than Shell Optimax. Perhaps this will encourage shell to release the 100 octane version of Optimax

As far as i'm concerned, unless you dial in more spark advance (either manually or via knock sensor feedback on efi) you wont notice any difference. The higher octane is just more resistant to knock, so you can run higher CR or higher Boost.
