Ultima Test Drives

So for guys that have sold Ultima's in the past.....

Did you let the potential customer drive the car?

Or

Did you take them out as a passenger?

I looked at two in one day, and both times I was the passenger.

When I get around to selling mine, there is no way I'd let anyone test drive it - unless they stump up with the full amount in cash on the spot - if they are really keen (and want to build one as well) then they can always book a test drive with the factory, otherwise I'd always take them on a few local roads that I'd 'checked out' beforehand...

As the previous owner of mine found out, even the most keen sounding can turn out to be muppets...

Oh, and if the interested party is a middle aged lady, with a name beginning with 'G', tell her, politely, to f### off...

Ultimas are so different from an ordinary car it would be all too easy to put it in a hedge.

They do take a bit of getting used.

I would be a passenger annyway the commen 4 months orso...sadly... They got my with a lasergun on a viaduct above the highway(120km/h) at around 03:00h in the morning no one on the dubble highway and on a straight way doing 255km/h on that point, and about 1.5km ahead around a corner there where about 20 police doing a big control an d they got a call that a yellow car was doing that speed(255km/h)...thats me
Now I'm looking at 4 months no drivers license, and about 2000,-euro fine? and they took my car at the spot! thats 42.000,- but I hope to get that back after a while...I miss them
So the common 4 months Its gonna be hard for me, no driving...and I life alone, lucky for me a good girlfriend is often here so I could get something, but they took my freedom! and I did not harm or so at no one! I'm a good driver and the road was empty at that moment! and dry...it was news at whole the Netherlands were I life...

But Michel, stil like to drive in your car sometime
When I had the money, I proberbly would buy your car! its the right color...and a nice engine, but better for me it was a LS1-7 engine, so when you come to Holland, you can have a drive in my Z3 M coupe S54 when I got it back, and I take a drive in your GTR...

Thanks, and watch out for some buyers who only want to drive your car! I had one 4 weeks ago, and 1 week ago I've got a small speeding ticked(30,-) at home(made by gatso) that he made that day! but he lives in Belgium, and it stands now also behind my name.
