Track Day Experience - Formidable Weapon

I know the GTR is wicked fast. But, I had a ride in a TT Porsche Cup Car at the track this weekend and was very impressed with the handling. Of course, the GTR is lighter.

Those that track their Ultima, and given similar driving skills, is there any type of car that can really give a GTR (say with a 500 hp engine) a run?

since I put a supercharger on mine to get over 500hp there's not been anyone overtake me at Knockhill, but in the limited amount of time available so far, maybe that's not saying too much. Certainly looking forward to next years trackdays to see if my smile can get any bigger!!!!

Funny talking about how well the Ultima handles on track.

I went to the Milton Keynes car cruise in the Ultima on Sunday night and have since watched the www.mkcruise.co.uk forum after someone posted up about the car.

The perception out there was they handle like Sh!t LOL

Soon put that straight but one chap felt that on the track days he has done in a 118hp car he kept up with Ultima's round the twisty bits! I suggested the Ultima drivers were going round in reverse but for the sheer fun.

It's hiliarious reading that thread. Why the hell everyone compares a Radical to an Ultima? Damn Radical can't go over speed bumps. Why don't people compare a Radical to a modern Formula F1 car. Let's see which car wins around a track? Hey, but if you got cash, you can make an Ultima go around the bends faster than a Radical.

Oi,my Radical Sr4 goes over any size speed bump,well when its on the back of the trailer!!!
