Any ring times

I was wondering if there were any "Ring" times you know the long course the good one :). I am sure some one must have taken there GTR around the ring. I would of thought it could take the lap record pretty easy.

By the "long course" presumably you mean a full flying lap of the Nordschleife.

As you can't do a full flying lap on public days, any timing usually takes place between the bridge at the end of the long straight & the gantry just after the beginnning of same (commonly known as BTG I understand). Obviously, as it's not a full lap you couldn't possibly set a lap record.

The only way to get on a full flying lap is to go on a private track or test day day. Very very few UK operators have been given permission by the 'Ring management to run such days & when they do, timing is absolutely prohibited. If caught the risk is huge, not only to the driver being sent straight home, but the operator could lose its ability to operate a similar event in the future. As such one would not be terribly popular with the assembled masses in the paddock.
