Steering Wheel Style and Size

Howdy Y'all,

WoooHooo! My GTR has landed in Oakland, CA. I don't have it yet. Still needs to clear customs and ship it 200 miles to my house...but I have been shopping around and was curious as to the size and type of wheel folks are using.

My guess is something around 13 inches (33) would be about right. Also, how do you like the "D" shape for road-course driving? Any drawbacks to certain manufacturers? Additional comments are appreciated.

Anything bigger than 13 would be too crowded I think.

I am using a MOMO D shape and love it.

I've got quite a small one... an OMP Kubic. I was worried that it would be a struggle when I was looking but find it perfect, it is flat top and bottom. I have the seat closer due to short(ish) legs and having a flat bottom makes it a little easier to get in/out IMO.

Hi, Phil. Thanks for the info. Looked it up on the net. Nice, and quite a good value here at $99. I like the models with the built-in buttons, too.
