How to value Ultimas?

A friend of mine is sniffing around an Ultima that is built but just needs painting? Apparently it was built a couple of yrs ago but funds have dried up.
How does one determine the value of such a car?
What features/models/variants etc determine price?
eg GTR v sports, engines? etc...?

Well a GTR is worth more than a sport its the latest model.
Does it have AP racing factory brakes?
Does it have factory dampers?
Does it have factory speedo or stack system?
Does it have a rear wing ?
Does it have factory seats?
Does it have American speed V8 chevy?
Does it do 0-100-0 in 9.8 secs if it does it is priceless !!!

Seriously though, best bet is to keep an eye on the classifieds section to get an idea of the 'going rate'. There are so many things that can affect the value such as non-standard parts, odd configurations etc. that can put people off (or attract them come to that). Post pics and spec here if you like and the collective knowledge should give you a good idea.
As a general rule of thumb, no car is worth as much as the owner thinks it is! Harsh, but fair

Why does it need painting? The body comes finished in a gel coat
Cost depends on what's left to do and how good is the finish on what's already been done.
