Rear gearbox mounts

Hi all,
I have been trying to fit the gearbox and can't line the holes up (I have a short box). The top bracket is about 8mm out(as if the engine need's to go forward) and with the top bracket resting on the plates the bottom hole is about 4mm to high, I thought this was going to bee an easy job!!

You need to talk to the factory about this one as there are at least 4 different mounts. You may also need to change the engine mounts.

Cheers Steve I will ring them in the morning, can play with the side window's tonight insted.

Hi Rich,
This gave me a big headache, and took some time to fix. Basically I had to add spacers between the engine mounts and the block, to lift it up and allow it to tilt back some to clear the bottom and top chassis rails. The top mounting holes in the chassis had to be openned up a little and the same on the botton mounting plate. Basically play around until it fits and all lines up.
