Best we find out the phone number for that German Girl off top gear, the one that beat Clarkson... I bet she could take Gareth's car around in a pretty good time...

That place is more about knowing the curcuit, over 100 corners to remember.... I struggle with the GP Curcuit at Silverstone.....

Well, actually this idea is not too far away. I happen to live in Germany and I know the drivers who are real kings of the ring quite well. I`m referring to Peter Zakowski and Robert Lechner, who have some experience driving their Zakspeed Viper around the Ring. I couldn`t think of anyone (at least around here) who`d be better for the job.
I`m sure they`d be glad to try the Ultima, so if there was any way to get a GTR640 over here I`d immediately try to arrange some "event" (including press coverage). Any volunteers?

So let me get this straight, I put my car in the hands of some German panzer drivers I don't know who thrash it around a forest track, should the engine explode and the car wrecked I pick up the bill .... ummmm tempting not !!

But if someone else wants to pick up any potential bills I am good to go...

So you don`t know any of these drivers? I thought at least Zakowski rings a bell, he currently holds a record for winnig the 24h race on the Ring 4 times (together with Pedro Lamy, both re ex-Formula 1 driver). Believe me, these guys are also able to drive a Panzer around the ring :-)
I totally understand your concerns, I wouldn`t hand MY car to any of these "madmen" either...it was just a thought.
