Those Suffering with an Edelbrock EFI 3500 System

I thought the problem with my Edelbrock EFI 3500 system was related to my car only. Have found out that the lurching and bucking at low speeds is happening with all the Ultimas.
Initially, the car spent a day at the dyno shop, both on the dyno. and test driving trying to eliminate the problem, but in the words of the dyno guy, it's the system.
Well, relieve may be in sight.
There's a local chap who's been creating a system mainly for Fords, but he's started to prepare for Chev., and he claims that he can re-do my system and elimate the bucking.
He's been getting writeups in Hot Rod and Kit Car Magazine.
Scheduled to start working on it in about a month.
Claims I can keep my manifold. Have to send him some parts to be re-worked, and change the distributor, harness, and computer.
He'd like to use the CanAm as a test bed.

I have the 3500 as well. I did have to upgrade my injectors, and it spent a rather substantial amount of time on the chassis dyno to get it right. I still experience a small amount of lurching at low speeds, but attributed that to the agressive cam. I would be quite interested in the results you get from the mod.
I am running a custom chip in the ECU that was burned specifically for the car (based on dyno runs and fine tuning). The chip Edelbrock supplied for the cam profile was close, but not quite close enough.

The first chip that Edelbrock burned for me was not even close. They burned me a second one, and that was closer, so I could at least drive the car with max fuel at some manifold pressures.
I was told that changing the injectors to larger ones would not help the problem.
Basically, this new system uses an air monitoring system similar to the one in my Cobra which is a
Ford system. Evidently the Edelbrock system is hunting for the correct parameters at low power demands, such as in slow moving traffic.
Will keep all updated.
Would be interested in knowing if anybody else is NOT having this problem with the 3500.
