Rear view mirrors breaking?

Hey, I want to know if anyone else is having trouble with the Ultima mirrors. My mirrors flap in the wind when i drive over 60mph and today my passenger mirror just broke off. This happen to anyone else?

My passenger side mirror on my GTR is showing some significant cracks in the gel coat. Does this mean that I will be waving goodbye to it very soon? I mentioned it to the factory, apparently some cracking can occur but it should be ok?! Basically I think it suffers from lack of support and will always be prone to some high stresses and as is apparent subsequent failure.

I was doing 150mph at my track day this past weekend... hope that didnt cause it.

hi to you all i have just had to replace my drivers side mirror after only 3 months both are new mirrors but due to lack of thread engagment the mirror on my drivers side cracked around the gel coat and last week fell off my new one cost me over £100 so not so cheap to replace i hope this one lasts longer

I have done over 160mph 50 times at Bruntingthorpe and no problems. I bit of silicon helps
