Daryl my engine builder just mailed me to say my engine is being finshed off as I speak, he's just adding the shiny stuff

The next nightmare being to get it and the gearbox fitted!!

As things stand today it's still a possibility but at least I'll have a chance to finish the car and then maybe drive it around for a couple of months

I'm glad that you'll at least get to have some fun, after all your hard work... Just don't go doing a 'tuckshop'...

I hope Ted lets the factory boys have a spin now and then for their labours...

Plus I've given up on that 'alternative' gearbox for now ;-), I still want one...
I'm looking at using a G96 from the latest GT2 Turbo... at least it's a Porsche box... pity, the other one would have saved me inverting the box...

Be carfull I think a GT2 box has an oil pump built in, and if it's upside down the suction of the pump will be in the air.

I'm not sure all the GT2 boxes have them but the 2 I've seen did have.... Best ratio's anyway...
