PH Shop: More New Products

Something for the ladies, something to fly and 'us' on a drink...

A strange discovery was made the other day when someone realised that we didn't offer any women's clothing in the PistonHeads shop. This observation was made by our very own Mr Will, and while we didn't dare to ask why he was looking for ladies wear he did raise a fair point. As a result (and to his obvious pleasure) we can now introduce a range of clothing cut especially for the female form. We launch with a range of classic PH T-shirt designs including 'Drop A Cog' and 'School of Speed' as well as some Ascot suitable headwear*. We promise to keep this new line updated as we launch with new designs throughout the year, but please tell us if you would like to see any particular products or designs as part of this range.

* Not on raceday.

See here for more info

It's not just about the ladies, oh no, we have some rather lovely unisex products to tell you about as well....

Have you ever watched an American film or programme and seen houses flying the Stars and Stripes in the garden? I have, and personally I think it marks the home owner out as a sensible and classy chap, and the same can be said of Brits who show they are from good stock by flying a St George's Cross during the world cup.

Now you too can show your allegiance to the flag by flying the PH Smiley from a flagpole of your choice. Worried your neighbours might not approve? Well why not attach one to your tent at Le Mans to mark it out?* or perhaps you would like to fly one from your boat and become a pirate**? How about using it as a cape for the dog, or as a small picnic rug? This really is a multi-use item, and as it's from PistonHeads you know the quality is top notch.

* A rubbish idea if we sell thousands
** Illegal, be careful.

See here for more info

Finally we bring you the exquisite PistonHeads pint glass. Sure to be a hit on the 2098 Antiques Roadshow series, so buy now to secure an investment for future generations. Completely watertight, free carry handle, and heavy enough to enable you to cancel your gym membership as you work on the biceps while supping the tipple of your choice. As many of you will know, the PH team are a little lightweight and shy away from drinking too much, but after extensive testing it was apparent that drinking from these glasses actually ensures you are a 'happy' drunk and guarantees no hangovers*.

So remember, we might be too tight to offer you a drink on us, but at least you can have us on your drink.

* Actually we all had a fight and felt terrible the next day

"Completely watertight"

Is this a good thing in a drinking vessel? I prefer ones with a hole in one end.

I just realised that I work for a company that makes all the st you sell.

Saying that, I don't think we make them for you, although well make and sell all of the products you have in your shop, just not PHed.

Those pint tankards are pretty weighty drunk

  • ETA
By st, I don't mean st. Just stuff. Although some of it is a bit st tongue out

  • ETA again
Hmmmm. I'm gonna search our system for PH stuff, just incase we do actually make your st.

  • ETA again again
No. No PH st on our system cry Damn, I could have made loads up and flogged em on ebay.

Indeed he did, just looked up the price - a bit steep. But then again, it's bloody useful. beer

Hi Guys,

The tankers are definitely at the high end of the price scale but we had a few requests for one and loved the idea and wanted to be able to offer it. They are made in small numbers so there’s not many about, think of all the jealous people smile

I like the look of it, but after ordering it, it's kind of a let down, ordered a size smaller then usual, yet ended up being still to big, it has "glitter" on it that is actually not really stuck on it.
First time in the washer ment the entyre laundry/machine was full of glitter,...

Hi ZesPak,

sorry to hear about your t-shirt of course that is a faulty one, we have produced alot of this t-shirt and only ever had a couple of issues.

Trouble is that if we dont get told and we dont know of the problem, we are more than happy to hear about any problems and will do all we can to put it right.

Ok, so I've worn it once and it's washed once. It never stopped leaving glitter on everything and to be fair the big ph smiley looks like it's almost completely washed out. I've never complained about this because, well, it's just a t-shirt (and I tought a pretty expensive one for such poor quality), but if you could assure me that it's just a faulty one, that would of course make all the difference...

We have sold hundreds over the last year and a half and i have had a couple of returns for this but that is all. I own about 3 of them and are all fine.

Please send it back to me and i will get a re-placement sent out to you, i dont like anyone to be unhappy with our products. The quality of the t-shirt is great but someone at the printers must have been having an off day!

Dave.
