Time for a suggestion...With the number of PH'ers doing trackdays or involved in motorsport or riding a motorbike I think there should be helmet safe stickers in the PH shop.

I fancied a white smiley to go on the back of my helmet but then I was reminded that this will compromise the helmet and the FAQ in the shop also warns that no stickers sold are safe for helmets.

The adhesive 'apparently' can damage it. True ro not, don't know.

Well thinking back the sticker that was on my helmet when I got it warned not to paint or apply any stickers, I guess the worry is that some adhesives or paint might eat the plastic.

Hi Guys,

Regarding applying stickers to helmets it shouldn't be a problem, we have been selling helmets in the motorsport industry for many years (although we don’t any more) and have never had any issues with applying stickers to them.

The only issues that might occur are if the helmet has an aftermarket paint job or a special finish (e.g matt) then I might be cautious about it.

Dave.
