Bit of a moan unfortunately, I placed and order back on the 9th August and despite my money being taken straight away. I've had nothing since what-so-ever.

When can I expect delivery? Do you send any sort of email notification when you dispatch stuff? Did you even have stock of the stuff I ordered?! Order ID is: 10846

Oh, in addition, the text verification stuff on the PH shop contact form is broken. I've had it, quite clearly, show me RULED, JELLY, SWEET, SHARP, PAUSE. Typing these in just causes it to reload the page!

Hi fivesixseven8,

Thank you for your post and email,

We have had a slight supply issue with the sticker that you ordered which has held up your order. Due to an uncommonly high demand we unfortunately had became sold out over the weekend that you placed your order.

We were expecting delivery before the end of last week for these but delivery had been put back for today / tomorrow. If we were aware of such a delay at the start of last week we would have made customers aware also.

I am very sorry for the delay but all being well it should be with you Friday / Saturday at the latest.

Regarding your money being taken straight away this is due to security reasons and confirmation for you that the order has been successful. If it’s not taken straight away it means your details have to be stored which is not ideal and if the money is taken at a later date it can cause problems for peoples cleared funds in their account.

I have also tried to replicate the issues you said to be having with the contact page text verification but everything seems to be working fine, if this happens again in the future please let me know.

Dave.

Thanks for the reply.

If you were aware of the delay, then would it not have been better to let the customer know? It's a bit off to just leave it open ended and not say anything.
I can appreciate the need to take payment when an order is made. But this just backs up my point about the need to let a customer know why they have not received anything when you have stock issues!

With regard to your contact us form, it appears to be case sensitive and therefore flawed in its design. You display text in upper case, but require it to be typed in lower case in order to pass verification! Perhaps a note could be added to the page mentioning this?

Also, if you have no stock of an item it's not really on to take orders which you cannot fulfil. If you are unable to add any form of stock control to the shop site then you could at least email people to inform them as already stated.

If you can accept that you are going to pay for stuff upfront when you have no idea on if stock actually exists nor when you will receive it. Then there is no problem!

The shop really does need some improvements though.

FWIW, I received my stuff on Monday 24th.

Good news your 'stuff' arrived at last.

Was kind of hoping that the shop or at least someone from Dread would alay my fears on the ram shackleness but I guess that's not how they run their business!
Oh well their loss is another mans gain!
