President Stickers

Would the sticker people be able to do a run of "Ari Vatanen for president" stickers in the style of the old Dan Gurney for president ones?



I imagine that Pistonheads will not touch this with a bargepole (for haymarket connections and wanting to stay neutral) so is there any way that we could get "*******'s recommended candidate" ie "Stifler's recommended candidate".

If this is not kosher on here would you do it as a private sale?

I love that sticker. Not sure we'd be concerned by political neutrality so much as by copyright issues though.

Stuart, if the politics are not an issue, how about a "PistonHeads recommended candidate". If this is the candidate that pistonheads would support. How much would you have to change to be able to get around the copyright issues? Swap the blue for red and red for blue? Or different colours entirely? PH logos instead of stars?

I was trying to make it free from copyright issues by using a different font and not using any Pistonheads logo/name.

If PH want to do a PH one themselves, then I'm happy to give them the Illustrator file, but I guess it'll be as easy for them to do it themselves anyway.

But surely my use of the word 'petrolhead' is fine to use as it's describing the candidate and the supporter and not implying any affiliation with Petrolhead.com.

The word 'Pistonheads' clearly relates to this site, but you don't hear/see many people saying "I'm not working, I'm going on Petrolhead".
