Hi Folks

I got some of these stickers last week, and happily applied them to my car this morning.

Imagine my devastation when on fitting you can see the edge of the sticky-back bit, and quite a lot of sticky gunk etc. Previous stickers I've had have had another piece you could pull off so that the only part that is stuck to your screen is the actual image and not the background. Do I make sense? I think I'll go take a photo to show what I mean.

Hi Dave

thanks for your quick response. I've just checked my emails and can't find an email invoice or anything with the order number on. I'm pretty sure I've thrown the delivery note out too, but I'll check when I get home and post later. I'll put a picture up of the sticker in-situ too, just to explain it a bit better!

It's not a massive issue, but I'll probably take the stickers off if they have to look like this.

Cheers

Hi Dave

I seem to have binned the delivery note so can't give you my order number. I can email you my full name though if you need to look the order up?

I don't know if I'm expecting too much with the stickers, but here's a picture of the one I've left on for the time being:

See how you can see the border? I've had stickers previously where once you've stuck the stucker to the windscreen, you can then pull the backing off so the only thing left is the actual image. The bit that you'd normally pull off is sprayed in red below. Excuse my crude drawing skillz!

Do you see what I mean?

Hi Arese,

It is now clear why you felt there was an issue with the smileys, the one you have ordered is the cheaper version of the smiley which is screen printed on a clear background Smiley Sticker, and is a square sticker.

The version i think you have had in the past and the version you have linked to in your first post is the vinyl cut out smiley which has no back ground to it - just the smiley. vinyl smiley.

I hope this is clear,

Dave.

Is there any hope for me if I don't even know what I ordered? paperbag

Thanks for clearing that up. I've just ordered some new vinyl ones, I guess I'll stick the other spare one on my laptop or something!

Thanks for posting out the new stickers so promptly guys/gals.

Cleaned the car over the weekend, and the new stickers look great.

Would it be possible to make the construction of each sticker a bit clearer? I figured the non-vinyl sticker must be different due to its price, but couldn't work out the difference from the description so I ordered both to find out. Good for business I guess! :P

Hi Guys,

I have added a bit more detail on the smiley sticker at the bottom of the sticker’s page. I hope this will help separate this one from the vinyl cut-out versions.

Dave.
