Printed by robots?

I bought a Never L8te tee... washed it for the 1st time yesterday @30 like it says no tumbling or ironing just hung it on the clothes line.

It hasn't shrunk or lost any colour (grey) but some of the writing and V8 drawing has faded.

Is this normal after a 1st wash?
