Car profile shirts - opinions needed!
Discussion
A few opinions sought gents (and ladies)....
Currently we offer a GT3 shirt as seen below, but from now on we are considering adding measurements to make them look a bit more technical.
This is the current car profile without measurements
This is the suggested new version with
So, the question is - with or without?

With. Maybe have the front view as well?
Nice idea, but unfortunately we don't have the front view. These illustrations are taken from the side on illustrations used by sister mag Autocar in their road tests, so we can use them without any problems. Downside - we've only got side on. Upside - we've got literally hundreds of them to choose from, so we'll be going through and releasing some nice classic PH friendly ones.I prefer them without, I like the simplicity of just the outline. And the measurements don't really add anything, does knowing the wheelbase make it more interesting? Over complicates a nice elegant technical drawing.
Might be nice to combine two or three both at the same scale, like a 70s 911 and the gt3, a mk1 golf gti and the new one. Showing how much/little shapes have evolved or how cars have got larger might be interesting.
Or combine cars from genres, hot hatches of the 80s, hyper cars, track day heroes etc? (All to the same scale)

If you have hundreds of them, will you be selecting a certain number, or will they be able to be done by order? Will there be a list or something?
No, we'll just select the stuff that we think is worth doing. Autocar road tests all sorts of stuff, so clearly there's very little call for a T shirt with a Toyota Avensis side profile on it....Stuart said:

But I want an Avensis t-shirt! (actually, unimog, Defender, Toyota FJ, Sammy, etc, would all be quite cool!)Stuart said:

I think that'd be great. I'd love a t-shirt like that. Would be very cool to see some rather PH motors on offer too, my be a TVR (original Griffith) and Caterham sort of thing. You know, something more enthusiast rather than just mainstream. What they are saying is if Autocar has tested it, they will probably have the profile image, in which case they can use it. Go and find something you like on the Autocar web site and you can suggest it.The latest tranche of these shirts are live in the shop now.
