Hi Folks

As per title, I just had a call about my 'PH Sale' order. My order originally looked like this...

PH Track Day White & Silver T-shirt
PH Track Day Grey & Black T-shirt
Competition Winner What's Inside
PH Knitted Cable Beanie
PH Fleece
PH China Mug
thumbup

And now, due to stock levels and all that jazz, it looks like this...

Interestingly, I was offered alternatives in different sizes (which would obviously be the wrong sizes - seemed a very strange thing to do) for a couple of the items, which naturally I declined. Meaning that I'm left with the pathetic order you see detailed above - the only up side being a refund for the rest.

Disappointed to say the least and not very Chrimbo-y at all!

Bah bloody humbug.

You waiting as well? I have to say that after reading other peoples posts on the subject in some other threads, I nearly called back and cancelled altogether. The only thing stopping me is the sale price on the bits I am actually getting - or supposed to be at least. Watch this space I suppose.

I do hope the refund doesn't take too long.

Yes, i'm waiting, although from past experience this was to be expected, i waited 6 weeks for my soft shell jacket - which wasn't even in a sale!

I've taken the pro-active approach and called them, my order was placed on 2nd December, 7 t-shirts + sticker + puffer jacket.

They don't have the sticker or jacket, which is annoying.

I think I might just call up and cancel the whole thing to be honest. I don't like placing orders with and giving money to companies / people that mess around and can't provide a reasonable level of customer service. Ultimately, the more I think about it, the only reason I got a call today, was because they wanted to try and off load other dead stock onto me, hence the offering alternative sizes. A bit ridiculous...

Them: "You've ordered a large in t-shirt X"
Me: "Yes"
Them: "That's now out of stock, would you like a medium?"
Me: "Er no, it probably won't fit"
Them: "OK. You've ordered a large in t-shirt Y,
Me: "Yes"
Them: "Well that's also out of stock, would you like an extra large?"
Me: "I don't think so, do you?"

I suppose they got the company name right!



ETA - Done it, I've just cancelled the order completely. All joking aside, I'm a bit pissed off actually, because I was genuinely quite excited about receiving the items I thought I was getting.

Apologies to anyone that has received a phone call regarding out of stock items.

We thought this would be the best method, rather than people not knowing and then wondering why they have received only part of their order.
