2023 registrations are open, who’s in what?
Discussion
I’d expect a small rise on a lot of stuff this year. If it’s only 5% then it’s a lot better than tyres
.
I have been looking at one championship but they charge a registration fee for the car and then the same again for the "lead driver" which I guess is a drop in the ocean over a season but still feels a little opportunistic

Sounds a bit like HRDC! Except for the privilege of racing with them, the car, lead driver AND 2nd driver need to pay an exorbitant registration fee... The cherry on top? Getting raped in having to pay for Dunlop CR65s to race on - £800 for a set of 4 x 13 inch tyres, lovely stuff....... ![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)

I wish I could get a set of tyres for £800 but mine aren’t 13"s.

My dad races in CALM series and will be again this year. All Boxster's, 924's 944's etc. Your car looks quick so wouldn't be surprised if your at the front. What class you in? One guy turns up with plates on his car un screws them races drives it home ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
Looking quick is one thing……… ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

They have changed how they do the classes slightly for this year but I’m pretty sure it will fit ok in the top class. Looking at last year’s results there’s a few cars in the top two classes that look pretty handy but I’m hoping to be in amongst them.
Looking forward to seeing you there

8s lead at the flag was a good win but I’m not sure it counts as smashing it
.
There was less competition than I was hoping for in the top class but the SP2 class isn’t far behind on power/weight and there’s some good drivers in there. But I was also the heaviest car on the grid so being 2.5s clear in the fully wet quali was pleasing, I need more wet races but sadly it had dried by the time we were at the start.
Nice bunch of guys to race with though and hopefully will be another big grid for the three races at Anglesey next month.

You were on it, your Quali was a fair few seconds in front of Ryan. We had a mechanical in the race so got the meatball just as I got in the car.
Unlucky ![paperbag](/inc/images/paperbag.gif)

Quali was spot on, there was more to come but it was perfect conditions for my driving style

I think you must of photoshopped that blue sky into the picture!
You overestimate my photoshop skills but I was amazed how dry the track was because about two hours previously we were hiding under the gazebo to avoid drowning in a monsoon while hanging on to in case it got blown away ![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)
